New: The calendar page

Dear readers, I proudly present the latest addition to this blog: the calendar page. I created the calendar to give an overview of festivals and events specific to the Toyota City region. It is the kind of thing that I wished I had when I lived in Toyota City. It is by no means exhaustive. I listed the events that seemed most interesting or relevant. For the events that are listed, I attempted to gather all the relevant information in one place. There is a focus on ‘how to get there’ and ‘when does the event start’, information that is often hard to come by if you don’t read Japanese. I hope the calendar will be of much use to current and future expats. Enjoy!

  1. Hello. I was curious with the picture you were together with Takanoyama. I was a fan of his. Looking at the picture you took, Takanoyama seems really small. I thought he was 187 cm tall. Is the man (your husband) really tall? He seems to swarf Takanoyama. I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks and take care. Frankie

    1. Haha, I hadn’t noticed but now that you mention it, Takanoyama does look small standing next to my husband πŸ™‚ In answer to your question, yes, my husband is very tall. 196 cm tall to be exact. So don’t worry, Takanoyama is still as tall as you remember him to be!

    1. Yes it was a lot of work. Especially doing tables in wordpress is a nightmare. I’m glad you like it though πŸ™‚ There is still more that I would like to add, but I wanted to get it published first. I can keep adding to it every now and again now that it is published. Japan just has so many festivals and events!
